Apex Kids’ TRYathlon: a summer highlight for a wide range of ages and abilities

Description

What’s the difference between a triathlon and the TRYathlon? First of all, it’s for ages 5-13. Second, and most important, it’s designed to be inviting, challenging and fun for the whole family. Participants begin with an age appropriate indoor swim, hop on their bikes for some off-road cycling on the Ralston Creek Trail, then run to the finish line to join their friends and family on the Apex Center’s new outdoor splash pad. The $30 fee ($35 for non-residents) includes admission to the aquatics area for up to four family members. The TRYathlon is from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 29.
