Inspiring Women is an excellent platform to connect with other like-minded women in the Chamber and support one another professionally and personally. GENERAL MEETING AGENDA
- Welcome & Chamber Updates
- Member Introductions (Name, Organization, Professional/Personal Updates, Question of the Day)
- Member Spotlight - 15 minute segment by a member of Inspiring Women
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
- Please register in advance using the Register button on this page.
- The Zoom link is included in your registration confirmation email.
- Not a member yet? Guests who have not been to a meeting yet are welcome to join!
- Try to use a computer for best audio and video\
- Join the call a couple minutes early to ensure the software is working, make sure your video and microphone are working, and mute yourself
- Sit with light facing you, behind your screen, away from a window
- Adjust your camera to ensure your face is fully visible
- If you have not used Zoom before, download the application on your device. For your computer click here and load the software. For your phone download the application in the app store. Once in the meeting, swipe to see the agenda and the opposite to see the chat window
DURING THE MEETING
- Stay muted if you are not speaking
- If you have a microphone on a cord, try to keep it away from your hair and clothing to avoid rustling noises
- Look at the camera while speaking if you're comfortable so it feels like you're making eye contact!
- Avoid multitasking ~ everyone wants your full attention!
- Use the chat function to send messages
