Description
International Women’s Day is a globally observed day of recognition of the history, contributions and plight of women around the world. Around the world on this day women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political. The Day was first observed in the U.S. in 1909.
